Our Story

Established in 2019, Bare Activewear began during a transitional season of life. While taking a break from teaching during maternity leave, Jessica started experimenting with a small side hustle, never imagining it would grow into what Bare Activewear is today.

When the pandemic hit, everything changed. With Lorne suddenly out of work, the choice became simple but bold: go all in or not at all. With no roadmap, no guarantees, and plenty of trial and error, Bare Activewear became a true family venture built from the ground up.

How We Built Bare

Much of what we do has been learned hands‑on. We’ve tested, adapted, learned, and repeated—sometimes the hard way. That process has shaped who we are and how we operate today. We’re endlessly grateful to the community that has supported us, believed in us, and grown alongside us through every stage.

A Family‑Run Passion

Bare Activewear is proudly family owned and operated. Jessica leads product development, ensuring every piece reflects comfort, quality, and wearability. Lauren is the powerhouse behind the scenes, tackling everything from labor‑intensive tasks to two full store build‑outs, not to mention moving more boxes than anyone could count.

What started as a side project has grown into a passion brand built for real life, real bodies, and real people.
